This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of customer projects that encompass corporate and product impact inventories, target establishment, monitoring, and the implementation of sustainability strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication with those assigned.
• Convert client sustainability challenges and business requirements into analytical strategies, deliverables, and actionable recommendations.
• Organize client information related to products, services, timelines, deliverables, and the status of projects.
• Conduct and supervise data collection, processing, corporate inventory creation, product footprint analysis, strategic evaluation, report generation, documentation, and quality assurance/control.
• Offer strategic advisory services that facilitate sustainability target setting, monitoring, and achievement.
• Recognize additional service opportunities within the established client portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Sales team on customer acquisition by providing technical support, project scoping, proposal preparation, and pricing insights.
• Create technical documentation, analytical summaries, methodology materials, reports, and presentations for clients.
• Assist clients in preparing for third-party verification of corporate inventories and sustainability disclosures.
• Utilize Bureau Veritas and Aligned Incentives analytical tools and platforms, including AITrack, to generate insights and aid client decision-making.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
• In-depth understanding of sustainability market drivers and reporting frameworks, such as GHGP, SBTi, and ISSB.
• Proficiency in Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 corporate greenhouse gas accounting.
• Strong skills in sustainability consulting, client relationship management, project management, strategic advising, and problem-solving.
• Capability to develop, analyze, and communicate corporate inventories, product footprints, target-setting pathways, and financially motivated sustainability strategies.
• Experience in modeling impact mitigation strategies and creating marginal abatement cost curves.
• Excellent skills in data collection, surveys, assessments, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance.
• Advanced writing and presentation abilities for technical documents, client-facing presentations, methodology documentation, and instructional materials.
• Ability to assist in sales efforts through technical contributions, proposal writing, project scoping, pricing estimates, and customer solutions.
• Preferred experience in technology, apparel/textiles, agriculture, or other supply-chain-intensive industries.
• Preferred experience in supporting third-party assurance for corporate inventories.
• Familiarity with life cycle assessment, life cycle inventory database development, renewable energy markets, and opportunity identification is preferred.
• Preferred programming or analytical skills in R, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
• A bachelor's degree may be considered with proven subject matter expertise and a minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrable experience in leading sustainability consulting projects.
• Proven experience managing sustainability consulting projects with comprehensive responsibility for project management, client relations, problem-solving, proposal writing, pricing, and revenue growth with existing clients.
• Demonstrated experience with GHGP, SBTi, ISSB, and Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting.
• Proven track record in collecting, analyzing, and reporting assessment and survey data.
• Experience in creating client-facing technical documentation, methodology materials, analytical summaries, and presentation decks.
• Preferred experience in supporting corporate inventory assurance, financially driven sustainability strategies, and supply-chain sustainability initiatives.
