Senior Sustainability Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in formulating and comprehending sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.

• Create, implement, and evaluate comprehensive carbon reduction strategies utilizing frameworks such as GLA, LETI & RIBA, RICS, and BREEAM.

• Collaborate with clients and designers to establish sustainability and decarbonisation plans from initial design through to construction.

• Manage assessment certification programs including BREEAM and DREAM.

• Conduct sustainability evaluations such as SAW and SEEAM.

• Provide support for project management and scheduling.

• Assist in securing new business through proposals and tender submissions.

• Guide junior team members where appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the building design and construction process.

• Proven experience performing Whole Life Cycle Assessments (WLCAs) using OneClick LCA.

• Familiarity with assessment certification programs, particularly BREEAM and DREAM.

• Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities.

• Capability to analyze data and translate it into actionable sustainability solutions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to solving problems.

• Ability to handle a diverse workload across various projects.

• Verified experience in sustainable buildings, low-carbon design, and environmental performance.

• Insight into wider sustainability challenges and project mitigation strategies.

• Knowledge of current and upcoming sustainability and decarbonisation policies and best practices.

• Openness to working on Defence and National Security projects.

• Active UK Security Clearance or the ability to obtain it.

• Preferably a single UK nationality.

• Experience with LEED and/or WELL certifications is a plus.
