This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist clients in identifying and comprehending sustainability and decarbonization needs.
• Create, implement, and assess comprehensive carbon reduction strategies utilizing frameworks such as GLA, LETI, RIBA, RICS, and BREEAM.
• Collaborate with clients and designers to formulate sustainability and decarbonization strategies from the initial design phase to construction.
• Facilitate assessment certification processes, including BREEAM and DREAM.
• Conduct sustainability appraisals such as SAW and SEEAM.
• Provide support for project management and scheduling.
• Aid in securing work through bidding processes and tender submissions.
• Mentor junior staff when appropriate.
• Offer sustainability and carbon services for both public and private sector clients, with a particular focus on UK Defence and National Security initiatives.
• Assist clients in designing and implementing low-carbon, resilient, and sustainable estates.
• Strong understanding of the building design and construction process.
• Experience in conducting whole life carbon assessments utilizing OneClick LCA.
• Familiarity with assessment certification schemes, particularly BREEAM and DREAM.
• Experience with LEED and/or WELL is a plus.
• Proven track record in delivering sustainability appraisals.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Capability to interpret data and apply it to practical sustainability solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in presenting technical information clearly.
• High level of attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing diverse workloads across various projects.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainable buildings, low-carbon design, and environmental performance.
• Awareness of broader sustainability issues and strategies for project mitigation.
• Knowledge of current and future sustainability and decarbonization policies and best practices.
• Willingness to engage in Defence and National Security projects.
• Active UK SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it.
• Ideally possess a single UK nationality.
