Senior Sustainability Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assisting clients in identifying and comprehending their sustainability and decarbonisation needs.

• Formulating, executing, and assessing comprehensive carbon reduction strategies across various scoping frameworks (e.g., Greater London Authority, LETI & RIBA, RICS, BREEAM, etc.).

• Collaborating directly with clients and designers to establish sustainability and decarbonisation strategies from the initial phase, and ensuring these are implemented throughout the design and construction processes.

• Executing assessment certification programs such as BREEAM and DREAM.

• Experience with LEED and/or WELL certifications is beneficial.

• Conducting sustainability appraisals such as SAW and SEEAM.

• Assisting with project management and scheduling tasks.

• Contributing to business development through the bidding process, including tender submissions.

• Providing mentorship to junior staff when appropriate to facilitate skills development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of the building design and construction processes.

• Proven experience in conducting Whole Life Cycle Assessments (WLCAs) using OneClick LCA, as well as familiarity with assessment certification schemes like BREEAM and DREAM, and sustainability appraisals.

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with proficiency in interpreting data to create practical sustainability solutions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively presenting technical information.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
