Senior Support Analyst – Middleware, Spanish Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of both physical and virtual servers, including VMware environments, while managing authentication and access on Windows Server and Linux.

• Provide technical oversight for MuleSoft integration platforms and WebSphere Application Servers (WAS).

• Assist in the technical management of operational teams and projects associated with SAP Basis.

• Administer Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Progress databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and stability.

• Supervise Networking teams, focusing on Cisco and Fortinet technologies, firewalls, and perimeter security measures.

• Manage technology upgrade initiatives, equipment replacement, and structured cabling projects.

• Oversee the administration of monitoring, update distribution, and patch management tools.

• Provide technical assistance to other departments regarding hardware and software configurations.

• Ensure effective management of AWS, Azure, Windows Server, and Office 365 environments.

• Guarantee the availability and functionality of the VDI platform utilizing VMware Horizon.

• Manage automated update and patch distribution systems, including SCCM, WSUS, and Tanium.

• Define and evaluate computing resources, focusing on storage, processing, memory, network interfaces, and active processes.

• Uphold the continuous enforcement of information security policies and track compliance.

• Establish, monitor, and ensure alert management and incident response protocols on a 24/7 basis.

• Analyze the performance of infrastructure components.

• Coordinate the Disaster Recovery Plan.

• Manage and oversee physical and logical backup procedures, including Veritas with tape storage and Veeam for cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher education qualification.

• Proficient or fluent in Spanish, with the capability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure and management of physical and virtual servers (VMware), Windows Server, and Linux.

• Familiarity with MuleSoft integration platforms and WebSphere Application Servers (WAS).

• Experience with SAP Basis environments and administration of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Progress databases.

• Understanding of Cisco and Fortinet networks, firewalls, and perimeter security solutions.

• Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud environments, Office 365, and desktop virtualization (VMware Horizon).

• Knowledge of update and patch distribution tools such as SCCM, WSUS, and Tanium.

• Experience with monitoring tools, backup management, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Awareness of information security, compliance, and critical incident management procedures.
