This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.
• Oversee the complete supply chain for a product portfolio, concentrating on dependable patient supply, sustainable value, and collaboration across functions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, convert insights into actionable plans, and facilitate timely decisions to ensure supply continuity.
• Influence supply chain and lifecycle decisions to enhance resilience and boost financial outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance on comprehensive product supply strategies.
• Coordinate long-term and monthly planning cycles.
• Propel critical lifecycle management decisions and the execution of product strategies.
• Lead cross-functional Supply Chain Teams to formulate risk mitigation strategies.
• Represent Global, Regional, and Site Supply Chain in interdisciplinary product teams.
• Offer advice on manufacturing site selection, network assessments, and business case development.
• Direct and support strategic Global Supply Chain initiatives, such as acquisitions, integrations, and transformations.
• Ensure global demand and supply plans are in alignment with the established product supply strategy.
• Track product supply and inventory performance against established targets and parameters.
• Establish and uphold inventory goals and guidelines in collaboration with manufacturing sites, network planning, and Finance.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of lead times, essential raw materials, capacity, and planning assumptions.
• Share and cultivate best practices throughout the Global Supply Chain network.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or a closely related field, OR a Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, OR an Associate degree with 10 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in implementing advanced planning techniques related to demand, supply, inventory planning, financials, and manufacturing network planning.
• Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to interact with all levels of management.
• Strong digital orientation, with the ability to utilize digital tools, data, and automation effectively.
• Capability to forge robust cross-functional relationships and influence results within a matrix organization.
• Over 7 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.
• Comprehensive understanding of demand/supply planning, Supply Chain principles, and logistics.
• Competency in executing system-based advanced supply planning and scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of the company.
• Process-oriented mindset with leadership experience to identify gaps and pursue solutions.
• Tenacity and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with COGM, COGS, and NPV analyses.
