This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Assist in enhancing business operations and driving process improvement initiatives within a dynamic supply chain setting.
• Analyze operational data and document existing processes.
• Recognize inefficiencies, waste, manual tasks, redundancies, or unnecessary steps in the processes.
• Create optimized, standardized workflows and future-state process diagrams.
• Utilize Microsoft Visio, Excel, and various business applications to develop process maps, task documentation, and work instructions.
• Contribute to Lean Six Sigma and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Develop and uphold standard operating procedures, task documentation, work instructions, and process guidelines.
• Examine operational data and system information to uncover discrepancies, trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Conduct data entry and validation to ensure system accuracy and alignment.
• Monitor process improvement activities, deliverables, and implementation status.
• Assist in standardization and automation efforts.
• Establish and document business processes along with supporting controls.
• Manage project communications, business metrics, documentation, and associated records.
• Support project and work breakdown structures as necessary.
• Oversee project activities, timelines, costs, and expenditures when applicable.
• Review business requirements, cost data, contracts, or related documentation as assigned.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to grasp process changes, requirements, and priorities.
• Present process findings, recommendations, and status updates to business partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of pertinent professional experience in business operations, business analysis, process improvement, project coordination, or a similar field.
• Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in analyzing business processes to pinpoint waste, inefficiencies, redundancies, or opportunities for enhancement.
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining business process documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capability to analyze information, identify trends, and convert findings into actionable business improvements.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage data accurately and maintain trustworthy business records.
• Candidates must be available to work core business hours in the Pacific time zone and adjust their hours as necessary to support a globally distributed organization.
