This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement comprehensive supply chain sourcing and category management strategies for both direct and indirect spend categories.
• Develop and uphold enterprise Approved Supplier Lists, sourcing standards, and category strategies across all Centers of Excellence.
• Lead the selection of suppliers, conduct commercial negotiations, and establish supplier agreements, including MSAs, MOUs, and other strategic commercial arrangements.
• Keep track of commodity markets, supplier capacity, tariffs, and industry trends.
• Manage supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, capacity, and commercial effectiveness.
• Set up supplier qualification, onboarding, and compliance requirements.
• Create supplier scorecards and implement performance review processes.
• Facilitate corrective actions, supplier development, audits, assessments, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Assist in supplier capacity planning, readiness, and initiatives for supply continuity.
• Establish enterprise sourcing policies, standards, governance processes, and supplier compliance requirements.
• Maintain supplier risk management processes, which include supplier assessments, single-source exposure analysis, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation.
• Provide counsel to the VP of Supply Chain and executive leadership on sourcing strategy, supplier performance, quality, material productivity, inventory, working capital, and supplier initiatives.
• Foster relationships with COE Presidents and senior leaders across various cross-functional departments.
• Oversee executive supplier engagements, Quarterly Business Reviews, negotiations, escalations, and strategic supplier relationship initiatives.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, analyses, and presentations for operational reviews and executive forums.
• Manage enterprise reporting, governance, supplier engagement, improvement plans, scorecards, category strategies, sourcing governance, negotiations, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Enhance inventory and working-capital efficiencies through lead-time reduction, payment-term optimization, MOQ strategies, supplier flexibility, capacity management, and supply continuity initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, professional development, succession planning, and talent development for Supply Chain professionals.
• Work in an office environment while frequently visiting the production floor to oversee operations, compliance, safety, and staff engagement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, commodity management, or supply chain leadership within manufacturing or engineered products environments.
• Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise sourcing and category management strategies across multiple sites, business units, or product lines.
• Experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements, long-term supply contracts, supplier partnerships, and risk-sharing arrangements.
• Demonstrated success in leading supplier performance improvement initiatives concerning quality, delivery, capacity, responsiveness, and cost.
• Proven ability to deliver material productivity, cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier rationalization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality systems, supplier development methodologies, contract governance, and supply risk management.
• Experience in building executive-level supplier relationships and conducting supplier business reviews.
• Capability to work effectively in multi-site, matrixed, and growth-oriented organizations.
• Advanced skills in negotiation, supplier relationship management, and commercial leadership.
• Strong financial acumen, encompassing cost modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, savings validation, and margin impact assessment.
• Ability to formulate and execute enterprise sourcing and supplier management strategies that align with business objectives and growth plans.
• Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders and foster alignment without direct organizational authority.
• Proficient in executive communication, presentation, supplier, and executive engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to spearhead supplier performance improvement initiatives and manage complex supplier relationships.
• High level of accountability, business judgment, and follow-through.
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-focused environments.
• Physical ability to navigate the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing capabilities to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively.
