This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Take full ownership of the final reorder decision process from start to finish: determining quantity, color/size mix, timing, and cash phasing, using forecasting tools to guide your decisions.
• Strategize around promotions, product launches, seasonality, and scaling ad spend (marketing may double investments in certain months, so your buffers must be prepared in advance).
• Directly manage Chinese manufacturers: overseeing production schedules, negotiating pricing agreements, establishing acceptance thresholds, and setting quality standards, including rework processes.
• Oversee the quality control system from beginning to end: manage per-batch pass/defect reporting, ensure compliance with size specifications, and coordinate third-party inspections as necessary.
• Implement dual sourcing strategies: qualify a second production line, validate samples, and manage molds effectively.
• Administer our China 3PL operations: maintain service level agreements (SLAs), monitor daily throughput, ensure invoice accuracy, and oversee shipping lanes and DDP performance.
• Keep order-to-delivery timelines at 12 days or less and maintain a fulfillment rate of 98% or higher.
• Take charge of FBA restock planning: manage inbound shipments, establish restock cadence, and handle stranded/limit management (while the agency manages listings and PPC, you oversee stock levels).
• Lead our supply chain support team (currently one agent) and expand the function as we grow.
• Ensure packaging and inserts are always available, preventing any shipment delays due to consumables.
• Plan for the year: build buffers for BFCM, account for the Chinese New Year production freeze, manage freight peak seasons, and adapt to tariff/lane changes.
• Minimum of 6 years in supply chain management with complete ownership of both forecasting and purchasing—your decisions determine quantities, not a nearby demand planner.
• Required experience in the fashion or apparel category, with a strong preference for footwear—you're familiar with sizing complexities, size curves, seasonality, and returns dynamics from a hands-on perspective.
• Proven experience with a DTC eCommerce brand at a significant scale (1,000+ orders per day or equivalent).
• Proficiency in both Shopify and Amazon FBA is mandatory.
• Experience managing Chinese factories directly, including quality management, rather than solely through sourcing agencies.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on, AI-driven environment: utilizing dashboards, spreadsheets, direct communication with suppliers, and leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of your daily workflow.
• Fluent in English with the ability to work during overlapping hours with China.
• Competitive salary
• Work From Home
• Flexible Hours
