This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.
• Oversee the evaluation, upkeep, and surveillance of supply chain business systems, including the Purchasing System and MMAS.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership and procurement/sourcing teams on FAR/DFARS regulations concerning subcontracting, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Review, create, recommend, and facilitate the implementation of compliance policies, processes, procedures, and tools.
• Manage the requirements for subcontract flow-down clauses, supplier certifications, and sourcing approval controls.
• Assist in the development and validation of material basis of estimate inputs for customer proposals.
• Propel cross-functional compliance initiatives within Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
• Act as the primary compliance liaison with internal stakeholders and external customers/agencies.
• Address audit inquiries and customer evaluations.
• Oversee annual refresher and new-hire compliance training for supply chain and purchasing systems.
• Create reports and metrics derived from purchasing compliance data.
• Maintain compliance files, records, and audit trails.
• Lead internal and external audits of the Purchasing System and supervise the closure of corrective action plans.
• Support self-assessments, supplier audits, and readiness for CPSR.
• Monitor updates to FAR/DFARS and other regulatory changes, translating them into policy revisions.
• Engage in supply chain and procurement compliance projects.
• Analyze compliance data and share findings with staff and leadership.
• Mentor junior compliance and procurement personnel.
• Enhance purchasing practices to align with company strategy.
• Advocate for and communicate the company’s mission, values, and culture.
• Undertake special projects and assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or compliance roles within DoD contractor settings.
• Proven knowledge of FAR/DFARS purchasing system requirements, subcontract flow-down, and CPSR expectations.
• Experience in supporting material cost/pricing estimates for proposals.
• Familiarity with compliance in Estimating Systems.
• Experience in managing or assisting cross-functional compliance programs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Previous experience in leading or assisting with Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) is preferred.
• Knowledge of export/trade compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR) is preferred.
• Experience in preparing or reviewing material basis of estimate packages for competitive or sole-source proposals is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CFCM, or other NCMA-accredited credentials are preferred.
