Demand Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an IBP data scientist to create dependable forecasts and oversee demand reviews for CMR/HDX sales channels.

• Analyze overall product demand and predict future requirements and product needs.

• Contribute to component demand schedules.

• Enhance demand forecasting precision for both internal and external customers.

• Identify suitable algorithms for statistical forecasts alongside demand data scientists.

• Manage product history, promotional demand, historical sales trends, and demand patterns.

• Ensure the integrity of demand model input data and evaluate internal demand stream information.

• Collaborate on Sales & Operations Execution processes to improve demand sensing and adjust the long-term IBP perspective.

• Generate reports and lead demand review meetings.

• Report on business objectives and compliance with demand forecast schedules.

• Foster consensus on unconstrained demand.

• Develop demand forecasts utilizing data scientist modeling, market intelligence, and input from field sales.

• Coordinate demand reviews with sales and marketing stakeholders.

• Conduct root cause analysis of forecast accuracy, bias, and value-add metrics.

• Produce consolidated forecasts of unconstrained demand.

• Assess the impact of prior-month IBP deviations on the current-month plan.

• Facilitate and redesign best practices.

• Implement improvement actions and stakeholder communication strategies.

• Monitor forecast consumption and plan attainment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• 8+ years of relevant experience required for this role.

• Extensive knowledge and specialized expertise in sales, marketing, or finance.

• Experience in forecasting or planning is advantageous.

• Strong executive presence and leadership capabilities.

• Ability to evaluate complex business challenges and deliver impactful outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage various levels of management.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
