Senior Substation Physical Designer 1 – Grid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create substation drawings, which include General Arrangement, Electrical Equipment Plans, Section Views, Bill of Material, Lightning Stroke Shielding Plan, Grounding Plan, and various Details.

• Analyze and integrate vendor information into design outputs.

• Conduct walkdowns at client locations.

• Implement the Client's standards pertinent to the work.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in substation physical design.

• An Associate’s Degree in Drafting, or a high school diploma accompanied by 2 or more years of drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

• Capability to visualize components in 3D without computer assistance.
