This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Secure platform-distribution agreements.
β’ Identify, target, and pursue the most impactful partnership opportunities within Mercury's addressable market.
β’ Finalize agreements that integrate Mercury natively within a platform.
β’ Manage outreach and relationship building at the senior executive and C-suite levels.
β’ Navigate deals through their entire lifecycle.
β’ Design and structure innovative, first-of-their-kind agreements.
β’ Utilize Mercury's complete product suite as strategic leverage in negotiations.
β’ Create and validate the business case for each partnership.
β’ Take ownership of the channel from the outset.
β’ Establish Mercury's enterprise partnerships strategy from the ground up.
β’ 8-10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales, including significant time at a high-growth technology or similar organization.
β’ Proven history of closing platform-scale agreements.
β’ An established network that can be activated immediately.
β’ Experience in a high-growth, category-defining technology company.
β’ Extensive experience in structuring embedded or API-driven agreements.
β’ Strong commercial and financial acumen.
β’ Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build from inception.
β’ Technical credibility.
β’ Strong plus: experience in fintech, payments, embedded finance, or AI-native products.
