This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Formulate and implement annual business strategies for designated strategic distributor accounts.
• Cultivate enduring executive relationships within customer organizations.
• Discover new revenue streams through product enhancements, category expansion, decoration capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly business assessments utilizing sales analytics, market trends, and performance metrics.
• Develop growth strategies that enhance revenue, profitability, and customer loyalty.
• Negotiate annual contracts and strategic alliances.
• Increase market share within existing national accounts and target high-potential distributors.
• Formulate sales strategies for new product launches and emerging market trends.
• Act as the primary executive liaison for assigned strategic clients.
• Address complex customer challenges through cross-functional teamwork.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Finance teams.
• Track industry trends and competitive activities.
• Offer insights on pricing, products, decoration technologies, and service improvements.
• Provide customer insights to shape company strategy.
• Meet revenue targets, gross profit goals, strategic account growth, customer retention, new business development, forecast accuracy, and management of the sales pipeline.
• Travel approximately 50% for customer engagements, industry trade shows, national sales meetings, and executive business reviews.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 7–10+ years of proven sales or account management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the promotional products sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing national or enterprise distributor accounts.
• Proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
• Strong business insight and capacity to analyze financial performance.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in managing executive-level relationships.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with the Top 100 promotional products distributors is preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier operations and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Understanding of screen printing, laser engraving, embroidery, UV printing, digital printing, and heat transfer is desired.
• Experience in leading strategic business reviews is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Experience collaborating across various functional departments.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
