This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish, oversee, and enhance relationships with designated accounts by gaining insights into customer industries, business models, and purchasing processes.
• Recognize current and future customer needs and position Cummins products and solutions to meet those demands.
• Formulate and implement account strategies and sales plans to increase market share, revenue, and profitability within current accounts.
• Foster new business and growth opportunities in collaboration with customers, enhancing overall customer value.
• Articulate value by assisting customers in interpreting data and achieving consensus on the advantages of Cummins solutions.
• Direct and coordinate customer communication at all levels, managing escalations, contracts, and authorized negotiations.
• Collaborate across sales roles and internal teams to synchronize efforts and execute cross-business account strategies.
• Monitor performance by assessing customer satisfaction, providing accurate forecasts and reports, and achieving revenue and market share targets.
• A college degree, university degree, or equivalent in Marketing, Sales, technical fields, or a related discipline, or a suitable combination of education and experience is necessary.
• This role may necessitate licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• A significant level of relevant work experience is required, including prior customer and/or product experience. Experience in purchasing/commercial contract negotiation is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex strategic accounts in a team-oriented or co-managed account structure, with a demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with other account leaders.
• Strong organizational and execution capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams, customer requests, and internal stakeholders in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in driving customer engagement and sustaining robust relationships at various levels while supporting account strategy execution and revenue growth.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver customer solutions and resolve issues.
• Experience supporting large-scale or high-growth accounts in the data center, power generation, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
