This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Reach out to potential advertisers through cold calls, organized email campaigns, and professional social media platforms.
• Partner with our internal Editor to pinpoint high-value targets, analyze competitor publications to identify active advertisers, and explore internal lead lists for fresh opportunities.
• Engage with current clients and referral partners to cultivate a dependable pipeline of warm introductions and renewals.
• Serve as a knowledgeable advisor to prospects, taking the time to comprehend their business model and steering them towards suitable ad placements.
• Oversee, document, and methodically follow up with leads using our CRM (Magazine Manager), ensuring flawless communication tracking via Gmail.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities that balance professionalism with a warm, approachable demeanor—someone that people naturally enjoy conversing with.
• A disciplined mindset towards managing the sales pipeline, understanding that significant ad deals are finalized through courteous, persistent, and customized follow-ups.
• Comfortable analyzing market trends, identifying advertisers on competing platforms, and preparing tailored insights before engaging in calls.
• Demonstrated professional experience in client-facing advisory roles, account management, or B2B sales (preferably in advertising, publishing, or marketing).
• Proficient in Gmail and standard CRM systems. Prior experience with Magazine Manager and basic navigation within WordPress is a considerable asset.
• Direct experience in selling advertisements or working closely within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) sector.
