This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of a specified enterprise territory and achieve an annual quota by focusing on both acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
• Build, oversee, and implement a strong pipeline of intricate enterprise transactions from initial prospecting to final closure.
• Engage with large enterprise organizations, interacting with C-level and VP-level decision makers while executing structured, value-oriented sales cycles.
• Create persuasive business cases that relate Cohesity’s AI-driven data security platform to customer outcomes in areas such as security, resilience, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal teams to implement coordinated account strategies.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, territory management, and pipeline cleanliness within Salesforce.
• Utilize AI and productivity tools to enhance workflows, elevate deal quality, and facilitate data-informed decision making.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security and Cybersecurity teams.
• Significant success in a quota-bearing, customer-facing enterprise sales position involving complex technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging with enterprise accounts that have multiple stakeholders and intricate sales cycles.
• Understanding of data security architectures, resilience against ransomware, and the competitive landscape.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale.
• Strong history of negotiating and finalizing high-value enterprise contracts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills at the executive level.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in professional English for effective communication with customers and internal teams.
