This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in sales activities.
• Collaborate on Mutt's ongoing sales opportunities and leads. Respond to client RFPs and service requests, articulating our value proposition and driving processes - several each month.
• Assist in reviewing and providing feedback on Mutt’s marketing communications materials and presentations - once per month.
• Participate in networking events such as marketing activities, workshops, and conferences - a few per quarter.
• Conduct research and monitor information related to potential leads, market opportunities, and sales strategies from competitors or similar companies - every week.
• Pipeline Management - Utilize various tools, frameworks, processes, and methodologies to monitor the sales pipeline's progress in our CRM - on a biweekly basis.
• Proposals - Draft initial versions or send consulting work proposals and collaborate with the legal team to refine client contracts - monthly.
• Track Engagement - Maintain current engagement status and oversight information. Update details on current status and challenges - on a weekly basis.
• Account Management
• Foster relationships with existing clients and encourage them to become advocates for Mutt - weekly.
• Assist in tracking project economics through planning and budgeting activities. Suggest strategies to enhance buy-in from client stakeholders for proposed solutions - monthly.
• Identify new avenues or staffing opportunities for current accounts based on Mutt’s services - once per quarter.
• Other Team Support
• Provide the COO and Ops Leadership with relevant information and analysis for informed decision-making regarding staffing and presentations.
• Collaborate with Tech Leaders/Project Managers to discuss account expectations, pain points, potential farming opportunities, and client satisfaction surveys.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in guiding clients and leads through business initiatives and resolving challenging client situations.
• Skilled in scoping and developing consulting work proposals.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical sales pipelines (experience in software outsourcing companies is a plus).
• More than 5 years of direct consulting experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience; capable of leading a small team of highly skilled and ambitious individuals. Serve as a role model for peers, offering proactive and open suggestions regarding team needs.
• Basic oral and written communication skills in English.
• Intermediate++ skills in opportunity qualification and contract negotiation.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.) or similar software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Comfortable utilizing open communication tools such as Slack and ClickUp.
• Demonstrated ability to grow new and existing client bases from the ground up.
• Able to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Embrace challenges and unfamiliar tasks with enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with at least one CRM system, customer service, or marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, etc.).
• Experience with various sales methodologies (BANT, TAS, SPIN, etc.).
