This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Cultivating enduring and robust relationships by understanding client needs and effectively advocating within Akamai.
• Sustaining the sales pipeline with accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts to enhance visibility of prospects.
• Achieving bookings and revenue growth targets within the designated accounts to meet and surpass forecasts.
• Creating demand for additional products and services within your assigned accounts to expand existing revenue.
• Collaborating with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of customer requirements.
• Possess experience in large enterprise accounts and sales, high-touch sales, and cross-selling products.
• Exhibit experience in account management with both short-term and long-term planning.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of technology and the Internet, including hosting, networking, and strategic landscapes.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment.
• Be a self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Capability to establish executive-level relationships with high-ranking customer CXOs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Show a comprehensive understanding of our customers' businesses, their pain points, and how we can offer solutions.
