Senior Storage Engineer – Backup & Recovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise backup and recovery solutions.

• Overseeing enterprise backup operations.

• Formulating recovery strategies.

• Collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams.

• Keeping technical documentation and operational procedures up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth hands-on experience with IBM Storage Protect (IBM Spectrum Protect/TSM).

• Proficiency in IBM Storage Defender Data Protect.

• Experience with Commvault.

• Knowledge of Rubrik.

• Strong grasp of enterprise storage technologies.

• Expertise in backup architecture and ransomware protection.

• Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

• Experience in managing enterprise backup operations.

• Skills in Scripting & Automation (PowerShell or Python).

• Strong documentation skills and technical leadership abilities.
