Senior Statistical Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assist or oversee statistical programming tasks on clinical projects for clients

• Define, program, and validate CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets

• Define, program, and validate statistical analysis outcomes, including analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures

• Generate and review CDISC documentation

• Create and validate randomization lists

• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Report deviations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), customer complaints, and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)

• Oversee tasks performed by statistical programmers

• Provide guidance to programming team members on procedures and technical standards

• Prepare and conduct internal or external training on statistical programming methodologies

• Identify, implement, and develop new techniques, solutions, tools, and products

• Recognize opportunities for efficiency or process enhancements

• Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving departmental processes

• Communicate with both internal and external project teams

• Report issues to the Project Manager or Associate Director

• Assist Quality Assurance during internal audits

• Perform additional statistical programming-related activities as necessary

• Support effective resource allocation on projects

⛳️ Requirements

• BSc/MSc or equivalent experience, preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in statistical programming

• Strong SAS programming skills

• Familiarity with R language is an advantage

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical research principles and techniques

• Proficient in English communication

• Good command of MS Office Suite

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
