Senior Staff Software Engineer

• The Provider group is entering a pivotal phase of growth and technological advancement.

• We are seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to act as the leading Technical Individual Contributor for the entire Provider organization.

• This position demands a distinct blend of profound technical knowledge, architectural insight, and cross-functional leadership.

• As a strategic ally to the Senior Director, the selected candidate will be tasked with defining the technical roadmap, setting engineering standards, and spearheading impactful initiatives that encompass all teams within the Provider domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in full-stack development of contemporary database-supported (SQL/NoSQL) web applications, along with experience in microservice development.

• Demonstrated Technical Leadership: Significant experience serving as a principal or lead architect for a significant product domain or engineering team, with a comprehensive understanding of all stages of the development lifecycle: planning, specification, execution, and post-launch maintenance evaluation.

• Expertise in Distributed Systems: Extensive knowledge in creating high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure, with a history of working on highly intricate projects aimed at achieving sustainable outcomes.

• Ability to Influence Without Authority: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of influencing engineering direction and product strategy across various stakeholders, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to connect technical and non-technical groups.

• Experience in mentoring peers, reviewing architectural designs, and establishing design patterns.
