Senior Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Designing and constructing a scalable platform for essential ecommerce functionalities.

• Establishing foundational architecture and setting technical standards.

• Providing a production-ready platform that fosters long-term expansion and operational excellence.

• Operating independently with substantial impact on system design and engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in developing and deploying production backend systems.

• Experience in leading the technical direction of a team or workstream, either informally or formally.

• Familiarity with ecommerce order management, inventory, warehouse, or logistics systems is highly advantageous.

• Strong foundation in backend engineering, including APIs, data modeling, databases, and distributed systems.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native service architecture.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures, including queues, streams, and asynchronous processing.

• Proficient in testing, debugging, and production-support practices.
