Senior Staff Design Engineer, IC Layout

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize the Top-Down Bottom-Up (TDBU) floorplan approach to develop and enhance the RFID or Reader IC floorplan.

• Collaborate closely with both analog and digital design teams regarding floor planning and signal distribution.

• Work alongside program managers to monitor layout and floorplan progress.

• Perform layout reviews and finalize full-chip closure tasks.

• Execute detailed transistor-level layouts for RF, mixed-signal, and analog circuit blocks.

• Engage in the IC layout methodology roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline, accompanied by 12+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in custom analog, RF, and mixed-signal layout, with the capability to guide complex ICs from initial design to tapeout.

• Expertise in full-chip/SOC-level floorplanning and integration.

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and foundry technologies across advanced process nodes down to 16nm.

• Strong skills in technical project management.

• Capability to lead and mentor fellow layout engineers.
