
Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management – Contract Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Conduct internal audits of purchasing processes and documentation to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other regulations.
• Prepare and manage customer flow-down documents to effectively communicate terms and conditions to suppliers.
• Maintain precise, up-to-date, and compliant procurement records within the company's ERP system.
• Oversee internal audits and formulate corrective action plans.
• Review and revise company command media policies and procedures to align with regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with Contracts and buyers to identify custom contract flow-down clauses and input them into Oracle ERP for buyer reference.
• Provide training and support to procurement personnel on compliance issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to bolster compliance and operational efficiency.
• Implement best practices in procurement and adhere to industry standards.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance and procurement activities.
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of relevant compliance experience; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related compliance experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant compliance experience in lieu of a degree.
• Comprehensive understanding of government contract and procurement principles.
• Capability to research and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS).
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for the development of analysis tools, data tabulation, and creation of complex data sets.
• Strong adherence to ethics and integrity.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in supporting government contracts/subcontracts is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting, especially Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) purchasing modules, including terms and conditions and supplier information.
• 9/80 schedule: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.
