This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Serve as the Supply Chain/Material Management representative and leader in program support and proposal initiatives.
• Take ownership of program material budgets and timelines.
• Create monthly material forecasts and quarterly estimates at complete (EAC).
• Evaluate material sales, pinpoint risks and opportunities, and implement material strategies.
• Act as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for designated programs.
• Monitor material schedule requirements and formulate plans to mitigate schedule risks.
• Collaborate with Integrated Program Teams and suppliers to discover and execute schedule enhancements.
• Keep updated supply chain and material status information.
• Assist in weekly programmatic meetings and monthly programmatic evaluations.
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams, including Buyers, Engineering, Quality, Scheduling, and Program Office.
• Guide suppliers and eliminate barriers to fulfill schedule and budget expectations.
• Partner with Pricing & Estimating to create priced Bills of Material that comply with FAR requirements.
• Calculate proposed supply chain support hours.
• Develop and deliver supply chain strategies encompassing material, labor support, schedule, and budget.
• Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of relevant supply chain experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related supply chain experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.
• Self-driven leader capable of working autonomously.
• Confident in making decisions and taking accountability for outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely.
• Proficient in building working relationships and establishing trust with diverse individuals.
• Familiarity with and passion for supply chain management.
• Understanding of project management practices in the defense acquisition sector, including program planning, integrated master scheduling, budgeting, and earned value management.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) on a program with comprehensive Earned Value requirements.
• Capable of adhering to applicable FAR requirements for priced Bills of Material.
