This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Conduct research, draft, and sustain comprehensive, up-to-date, and practical legal content that addresses the requirements of startup companies.
• Keep abreast of legal, practice, and market changes that impact startups.
• Assist in the development of customer-centric AI-powered legal tools.
• Discover and execute strategies that merge content creation with AI-driven legal solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management on technology advancements, product improvements, and AI integration.
• Aid in the creation and utilization of internal AI editorial tools.
• Build and nurture relationships with external law firm contributors and industry organizations.
• Support sales, marketing, and various business operations.
• Address customer inquiries.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
• At least eight (8) years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Extensive experience collaborating with startup companies.
• Strong technical proficiency.
• Capacity to effectively use various tools, including generative AI technologies.
• Adaptability and flexibility to engage in a range of projects within the generative AI domain and emerging technologies.
• Curiosity regarding the intersection of AI and legal practices.
• Aspiration to enhance legal prompt engineering skills and innovate content development techniques.
• Awareness of current market challenges and proposals to enact, amend, or revise laws and regulations affecting U.S. startups.
• Comprehension of the needs and priorities of law firm attorneys, in-house counsel, and startup professionals.
• Exceptional writing abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and succinctly in plain English.
• Innovative and agile thought process.
• Superior time management and organizational capabilities.
• Proven project management experience.
• Enthusiasm for engaging with a dynamic editorial team and exploring AI-driven editorial content creation.
• Writing sample is required from candidates who advance to a second interview.
