Senior Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer legal advice and support to the firm’s clientele.

• Serve as a strategic negotiator and expert in conflict resolution.

• Analyze and review intricate contracts, legal opinions, and court documents.

• Represent clients in both judicial and administrative hearings.

• Formulate legal strategies.

• Provide direction to the legal team.

• Counsel on highly significant legal issues.

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws and minimize legal risks.

• Act as a technical authority in executing, organizing, and supervising legal advisory functions.

• Verify that commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy protocols comply with relevant laws and regulations.

• Oversee and manage clients’ portfolios related to judicial and administrative actions.

• Direct the review and creation of court documents and legal materials.

• Prepare litigation and contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system.

• Draft and implement legal instruments of varying complexity.

• Evaluate risks, perform diagnostics, and propose legal alternatives to advance the firm’s objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate qualifications in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are viewed as advantageous.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in general legal practice.

• Expertise in Civil Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, and Civil Procedure.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex judicial and administrative proceedings.

• Advanced negotiation capabilities.

• Proficient in technical writing and legal argumentation.

• Solid understanding of civil and procedural law.

• Experience in legal research.

• Skill in drafting and preparing court filings.

• Ability to manage deadlines and cases effectively.

• Commitment to professional ethics.
