Mid-Level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal services to the firm’s clients across a diverse array of matters

• Review documents and draft pleadings along with other procedural materials

• Assist in negotiations and devise strategies to optimize case results while minimizing risks

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and aid in achieving established objectives while maintaining legal certainty

• Serve as a negotiator and conflict resolver, facilitating effective, outcome-driven resolutions

• Manage various phases of legal proceedings, from contract assessment and drafting to representing clients in judicial and administrative forums

• Conduct, coordinate, and supervise legal advisory initiatives

• Verify that commercial transactions, contractual arrangements, and privacy policies align with relevant laws and regulations

• Safeguard clients’ legal and commercial interests

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases in collaboration with clients

• Guide the evaluation and creation of pleadings and legal documents

• Generate procedural and litigation-contingency reports utilizing the firm’s proprietary system

• Draft and execute legal instruments of varying degrees of complexity

• Evaluate risks, perform legal diagnostics, and suggest legal alternatives to support the firm's goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law

• Active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)

• Postgraduate credentials in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law are advantageous

• Specialization in Business Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a law firm or within a corporate legal department

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure

• Strong emphasis on drafting pleadings and reviewing contracts

• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledgeable in Civil and Procedural Law

• Proficient in legal research

• Skilled in legal writing and drafting pleadings
