Senior Specialist, Cluster MHPSS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure effective coordination, coherence, and consistent implementation of a portfolio of War Child’s Evidence-Based Methods (EBMs).

• Responsible for translating strategies, standards, and methodologies into relevant thematic/EBM support for partners.

• Oversee the quality assurance of EBMs, partner onboarding, thematic guidance, and adaptive learning within a cluster.

• Maintain oversight of thematic quality assurance for EBM integration at the cluster level.

• Ensure the operationalization of thematic and EBM guidance and standards.

• Lead and/or facilitate adaptive learning cycles for EBMs within the cluster.

• Strengthen organizational and partner capacity in MHPSS EBMs through training, mentoring, and scalable learning approaches.

• Represent and enhance the profile and reputation of War Child's EBM Care System Portfolio externally.

• Contribute to the learning agenda for EBMs, including the gathering and sharing of insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant academic background or in a closely related field.

• Relevant experience in the thematic area, including in humanitarian or post-conflict contexts.

• Experience collaborating with partners on co-creation and delivery of programs.

• Proven experience in program design, needs assessment, learning cycles, and quality assurance.

• Experience in developing methods, tools, guidelines, training, and learning materials.

• Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, and virtual learning sessions.

• Program or grant management experience is an asset.

• Fluency in English is required for this position.

• Additional languages may be advantageous depending on stakeholder groups and organizational context, such as Arabic, Dari, French, Spanish, or Ukrainian.
