This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Oversee multiple essential tasks associated with control functions to guarantee that completion is precise and timely, adhering to SOX and audit standards for disbursements exceeding $2.5 billion annually.
• Evaluate the creation of new vendors and modifications to existing vendor information in preparation for approval by the department manager.
• Address and resolve issues related to utility shutoffs and service disruptions that are reported.
• Conduct the reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts and perform account analysis for accrual and trend evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with IT, Brand Control, Finance teams, external service providers, and suppliers to guarantee that the execution of deliverables is top-notch.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage directly with all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or a related field) and/or a minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data extraction and manipulation, including skills such as V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
• Capability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities and potential frequent interruptions.
• Team-oriented with a willingness and readiness to adapt to frequent updates in policies, procedures, and technology – able to pivot as necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
