📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Geotab ecosystem, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and partners, enhancing their grasp of Geotab solutions.

• Collaborate and engage with strategic partners and key end-users to maximize their use of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, customizing approaches to meet their intricate and specific requirements.

• Work alongside Geotab revenue-generating teams as a crucial technical resource to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges, closely collaborating with them and their partners to contribute to sales growth, ecosystem expansion, and customer retention.

• Propel revenue growth by translating complex technical capabilities into tangible business value for potential clients. Conduct thorough discovery and requirements analysis to design and present compelling technical demonstrations and pilots that align directly with customer needs and expedite deal closure.

• Ensure satisfaction for partners and end-users by providing prompt and accurate service, enhancing internal team support through additional insights and expertise.

• Assist in Geotab’s partner upskilling initiatives, guiding them towards excellence in customer support across varied channels by employing best practices and leveraging a profound understanding of industry verticals.

• Evaluate and analyze complex business challenges faced by partners and end-users, identifying Geotab’s viability and suggesting alternative approaches when necessary.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company's offerings by supplying partner and end-user feedback, creating collaborative opportunities with Product.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer/partner interactions, complex solution designs, and deliverables by adhering to departmental processes and procedures.

• Oversee high-impact projects and collaborate with highly strategic customers/partners, working closely with partners, third-party integrators, and customers to ensure seamless implementation, deployment, and success.

• Develop and contribute to processes and procedures, manage escalations, identify areas for improvement, and drive change.

• Mentor and support Solutions Engineers and other team members by sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices to foster skill development and professional growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Data Science, Technical Account Management, Engineering Support, or a related area.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field.

• Background in a relevant technical domain, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration, with an emphasis on customer-facing roles.

• Deep technical knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs, and associated technologies.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, or C#, along with extensive experience in API integrations.

• Capability to work with Agile Work Management, Ticketing, and Customer Relationship Management tools such as JIRA and Salesforce.

• Familiarity with data analysis methodologies and tools, as well as data visualization platforms like Superset or Power BI.

• Proven track record of maintaining and enhancing technical knowledge to the level of a subject matter expert, with in-depth experience in the Geotab ecosystem.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate customer challenges and propose feasible solutions.

• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A customer-centric mindset, dedicated to understanding intricate client needs and delivering outstanding service.

• Advisory skills regarding business impacts, strong awareness of industry shifts, trends, emerging technologies, and the ability to adapt to evolving market demands.

• Aptitude for leveraging market trends with a commitment to driving revenue growth.

• Experience in sales or business development, especially with indirect sales channels, along with the ability to identify and pursue potential opportunities.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple high-impact projects and priorities concurrently.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
