This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions focused on lawful intercept, location intelligence, and data analytics needs.
• Architect and implement comprehensive solutions that encompass telecom networks, data collection, mediation, analytics, and visualization platforms.
• Manage the technical sales process, which includes architecture, solution positioning, demonstrations, POCs, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Convert customer requirements into detailed system designs.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for law enforcement, intelligence, and telecom stakeholders.
• Communicate intricate solutions to both technical and non-technical decision-makers.
• Assist in customer workshops, technical deep dives, and executive presentations.
• Develop architectures that integrate SS8 solutions into client environments.
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards, lawful intercept frameworks, and regulatory mandates.
• Collaborate with delivery teams during the transition from design to implementation.
• Work alongside account teams to strategize on new and existing opportunities.
• Generate proposals, quotes, SOWs, and technical documentation.
• Aid in competitive positioning and articulate solution differentiators.
• Provide product management with insights from the field, including trends and customer requirements.
• Influence product direction by leveraging real-world use cases and addressing customer pain points.
• Over 10 years of experience in solution and systems engineering, sales engineering, network engineering, or solution architecture.
• Capability to design and size high-capacity, high-performance, mission-critical systems.
• Strong grasp of telecom network architectures and signaling protocols.
• Familiarity with 3G, 4G LTE/EPC, 5G Core, IMS, VoLTE, and VoIP.
• Expertise in IP networking, including routing, switching, and protocols.
• Experience with lawful intercept frameworks and systems.
• Understanding of data flows, packet capture, and network-based data collection.
• Background in supporting or collaborating with law enforcement agencies, intelligence communities, or telecommunications service providers.
• Practical experience with virtualization and/or cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of databases and storage systems.
• Understanding of compliance, regulatory, and legal considerations in telecom and surveillance contexts.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and close complex deals.
• Experience in responding to RFPs/RFIs and crafting technical proposals.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with substantial customer-facing experience.
• Capability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to technical leadership.
• Ability to simplify complex systems without oversimplifying them.
• Capacity to challenge unrealistic customer expectations.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in uncertain environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Experience with OSINT, location intelligence, or analytics platforms is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch, AI/ML, or AWS/Azure/private cloud is a nice-to-have.
