Senior Solutions Engineer – Banking and Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the effective integration of Chainlink products within the capital markets sector by forging robust relationships with key stakeholders, such as major financial institutions, while offering technical expertise and support throughout the sales and implementation phases.

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the Chainlink capital markets product strategy by delivering insightful feedback, market analysis, and technical knowledge that will influence the product suite's direction and roadmap.

• Work closely with internal technical teams, including developers and engineers, to provide input and direction on product improvements, bug resolutions, and the development of new features, ensuring the capital markets' needs are thoroughly addressed.

• Build and sustain a thorough understanding of the capital markets landscape, encompassing market trends, challenges, and emerging technologies, to effectively advocate for and promote Chainlink products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of blockchain technology and related fields (e.g., DeFi, tokenization/digital assets, digital identity, etc.).

• Practical experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, and APIs.

• Background in software engineering or solutions engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing or delivery role (solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting, or field engineering).

• Proven experience in developing and deploying production or near-production blockchain applications, demonstrating not just familiarity, but actual code delivered on public or private networks.

• Established track record in delivering Proof of Concept (PoC) or pilot projects with enterprise clients, including scoping, construction, demonstration, and documentation.

• Experience in capital markets, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries, with an understanding of how technology choices affect compliance, audit, and operational risk considerations.

• Proficient in Solidity development, including writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks, with familiarity in common patterns (proxy upgradability, access control, multi-signature, oracles, token standards).

• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript/Go/Rust or C++ is especially relevant for performance-sensitive off-chain components or zero-knowledge (ZK) adjacent tools.

• Hands-on experience with oracle network architectures, decentralized data feeds, proof-of-reserve mechanisms, or cross-chain interoperability protocols.
