This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of customer implementation projects from start to finish, acting as the main point of contact during onboarding, deployment, and ongoing customer success.
• Set up, validate, and enhance the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) using customer utility data and network models to facilitate real-world grid planning and DER applications.
• Function as a reliable technical and industry consultant, offering insights on grid planning, utility operations, interconnection processes, and best practices.
• Facilitate customer workshops and stakeholder discussions to identify business challenges, establish requirements, and ensure successful project results.
• Accelerate customer adoption and value generation by aiding utilities in effectively incorporating IGP into their planning and operational frameworks.
• Represent the customer's voice internally, converting customer needs, industry trends, and market insights into actionable product specifications and roadmap suggestions.
• Work closely with technical and commercial teams to provide high-quality solutions and enhance customer value.
• Mentor and guide junior team members through coaching, knowledge exchange, and the development of implementation best practices.
• Assist in go-to-market strategies through product demonstrations, technical presentations, thought leadership materials, RFP submissions, partner engagements, and participation in industry events.
• Represent envelio at conferences, webinars, workshops, and other industry gatherings to bolster our market presence and customer relationships.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience managing intricate projects or programs and achieving successful outcomes in customer-facing or cross-functional settings.
• Solid technical proficiency in power systems and electrical engineering concepts, with experience in utility planning, interconnections, grid modernization, and/or power system design.
• Knowledge of distributed energy resources (DERs), hosting capacity analysis, grid planning software, GIS systems, or utility analytics platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of the electric utility sector, including utility planning methodologies, utility data, planning studies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members and contributing to team growth.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, industry events, and team collaborations.
