Senior Solutions Consultant, Higher Education Student Information Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery discussions with stakeholders from admissions, enrollment, registrar operations, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, IT, and executive leadership.

• Design and oversee validation experiences to aid institutions in assessing business, operational, and technical compatibility.

• Provide demonstrations, workshops, and proof scenarios that align with customer priorities.

• Offer guidance to customers regarding SIS modernization, process enhancement, payment processing, integrations, reporting, and change management.

• Assist customers in understanding how automation and emerging AI technologies can enhance institutional effectiveness.

• Support RFPs, technical assessments, proof-of-concept initiatives, and executive presentations.

• Collaborate with Student First and internal Blackbaud teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

• Develop reusable demo materials, enablement resources, and best practices to expand Blackbaud's SIS expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Higher Education SIS.

• Comprehensive understanding of admissions, enrollment, registration, academic records, and student services.

• Experience in Higher Education or in providing support for Higher Education technology solutions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to establish credibility with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Familiarity with student finance, billing, and payment processes.

• Experience with SIS platforms such as Banner, Colleague, Workday Student, PeopleSoft, Anthology Student, or Jenzabar.

• Background in consulting, implementation, solutions consulting, or sales engineering.

• Knowledge of AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives in Higher Education.

• Familiarity with Blackbaud products, including Raiser's Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, and Blackbaud Integrated Payments.
