Senior Solutions Architect, Physical AI and Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in high-impact research initiatives alongside university principal investigators and their research teams.

• Discover and assess new valuable research prospects in Robotics and Physical AI.

• Advocate for the integration of NVIDIA software platforms (including Isaac Sim/Lab, Cosmos, GR00T, Warp, and Newton) to address pioneering scientific challenges.

• Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with leading UK universities and research consortia.

• Support academic collaborators in obtaining essential research funding from external sources.

• Serve as a liaison between academic collaborators and NVIDIA's product, program, and engineering teams.

• Convey software and hardware requirements to guarantee that our solutions continue to enable top-tier research.

• Provide strategic insights on emerging trends and breakthroughs from the research ecosystem or laboratories.

• Organize and execute outreach events (e.g., NVIDIA AI Days, NVIDIA Robotics Days).

• Assist university principal investigators in mentoring postgraduate students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (with specializations in Computer Vision, AI, or HCI).

• Research publications focused on Physical AI, Robotics, and related AI subjects.

• Experience in academic research groups.

• In-depth understanding of Physical AI and Robotics, including robot learning, manipulation, locomotion, perception, sim-to-real transfer, world models, or autonomous systems.

• Familiarity with scientific policy engagement, grant processes, or national/European research program frameworks.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and quickly adapt to new technologies.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in AI research related to robotics.
