Senior Solutions Architect, Generative AI Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with universities to influence significant projects involving foundation models, generative AI, multimodal AI, reasoning systems, AI agents, and AI systems.

• Provide guidance to labs on GPU-accelerated training, inference evaluations, agent assessments, tool utilization strategies, data pipelines, scaling experiments, and reproducible workflows.

• Assist in developing research prototypes alongside researchers leveraging the complete NVIDIA stack.

• Evaluate throughput, memory usage, parallelism, latency, and scaling across workstations, multi-GPU servers, and campus HPC clusters.

• Convert lab feedback into technical examples, workshops, roadmap contributions, and implementation guidance for NVIDIA teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of practical experience with AI systems, accelerated computing, distributed training, inference evaluations, or research-oriented generative AI workflows.

• Profound foundational expertise in AI, encompassing LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models, reasoning, long-context models, fine-tuning, post-training, agentic AI, and evaluation.

• Strong proficiency in systems like PyTorch or JAX, Python, Linux, distributed AI, data loading, checkpointing, memory optimization, batching, scheduling, latency, and throughput.

• Experience advising faculty, graduate researchers, and research-computing teams on benchmarks, reproducibility, reliability, safety, agent evaluation, and research impact.

• Excellent communication skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to translate complex model, agent, and infrastructure challenges into actionable next steps for labs.
