This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee technical discovery, demonstrations, and validations (including proofs of value) to illustrate how GitLab's AI-driven DevSecOps platform meets the technical, regulatory, and business requirements of financial services clients throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Lead the technical evaluation procedure as the Directly Responsible Individual, which encompasses solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop planning, and support for technical aspects of tenders, audits, and value stream evaluations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to develop and implement account strategies aimed at acquiring new customers and expanding within the financial services sector.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders in financial services organizations, guiding them through GitLab-enabled digital transformation and empowering them to become advocates for GitLab.
• Provide guidance to customers on contemporary software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, particularly in relation to financial services risk, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Represent the voice of enterprise financial services clients to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing by conveying feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that influence the roadmap, positioning, and industry-specific solutions.
• Maintain and enhance your expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies by creating reusable examples, best practice guidance, and technical resources designed for financial services clients and partners.
• Commit to your personal growth and development through continuous learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to enhance the effectiveness of the Solutions Architect team in supporting financial services.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, assisting organizations with solution design and evaluation.
• Expertise in the complete software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps methodologies and continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Practical experience with GitLab or similar source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, with the capability to align platform features with financial services use cases and limitations.
• Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts and associated technologies, with the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operational options with technical teams.
• Capability to facilitate technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and execute workshops or value stream assessments for commercial accounts.
• Strong technical communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to tailor messages for audiences ranging from practitioners to senior business and technical decision-makers.
• Proficiency in building trustworthy relationships, listening empathetically, and acting as a customer advocate to internal teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
