Senior Solutions Architect, Ethernet Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Delivering Ethernet and routing expertise to clients throughout project implementation.

• Collaborating within multi-functional teams to offer Ethernet networking knowledge.

• Developing and assessing DevOps automation scripts for network operations.

• Carrying out tasks related to network configuration and validation for data centers.

• Producing Methods of Procedure and deployment documentation.

• Validating network architectures and configurations in a laboratory setting.

• Developing network automation scripts.

• Engaging directly with clients to gather necessary information.

• Utilizing software tools to assess and monitor network performance.

• Generating project documentation to be handed over to the client.

• Traveling onsite to customer data centers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and data center architecture.

• More than 5 years of practical experience in designing and constructing network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters, including CLOS and spine-leaf architectures.

• Expert-level knowledge in BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN for network design and troubleshooting (5+ years).

• Advanced skills in network troubleshooting using packet sniffers and analysis tools (8+ years).

• Strong background in Linux administration (6+ years).

• Experience with HPC network storage technologies.

• Over 6 years of direct customer-facing experience in gathering network requirements, analysis, project planning, and deployment.

• Proficient in network automation using Ansible, Salt, and Python scripting (3+ years).

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
