This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Design and present high-level technical solutions to customers.

• Gather business and technical requirements.

• Execute comprehensive end-to-end network designs throughout the full lifecycle.

• Facilitate productive whiteboard discussions.

• Create presentations directed at customers.

• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations.

• Produce hardware configurations (BoM).

• Draft statements of work (SoW) and establish Professional Service pricing using Presidio tools.

• Collaborate with the Account Executive and Extended Sales Teams to enhance customer relationships and solutions.

• Continuously maintain and advance technical and technology-specific skills and certifications.

• Become a ‘trusted advisor’ to clients and assist in shaping their long-term technology strategies.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise-level network and security solutions.

• Previous experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, implementation, and support of complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).

• Familiarity with next-generation firewalls/VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

• Experience with SSE and SASE technologies.

• Proficiency in automation tools (Catalyst Center, Apstra).

• Skills in observability and monitoring (ThousandEyes, Splunk, Datadog).

• Expertise in Data Center switching and segmentation (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX).

• Knowledge of SDWAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Aruba Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma, Fortinet).

• One or more of the following certifications: CCDP/CCNP/CCIE, along with other non-Cisco certifications.
