Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Become proficient in creating enterprise-level data pipelines using dbt Cloud.

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to convey the technical advantages of the dbt Labs product suite.

• Assist customers in navigating proof-of-concept implementations and support trials of dbt Cloud.

• Partner with engineering to implement dbt Cloud in private cloud environments for enterprise clients.

• Manage the entire customer journey, from pre-sale assessments to product adoption and growth.

• Collaborate with the product team to develop and uphold the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

• Establish strong relationships with our partners, including companies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks, to facilitate their adoption and implementation of dbt for their clients.

• Actively participate in the dbt community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting within data operations, analytics, or BI.

• A solid technical foundation, including experience in SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.

• A comprehensive understanding of modern data warehousing architectures and the ability to discuss them effectively.

• Proficiency in gathering and translating technical and business needs into tangible solutions.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person communication abilities for discussing complex topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous work environment.

• A commitment to being an inclusive team player and an engaged community member.

• Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-source software.

• Familiarity with or prior experience using dbt.

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques such as dimensional, data vault, Kimball, and 3NF.

• Experience with traditional enterprise ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Boomi, Talend).
