Senior Solutions Architect – Digital Native Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Influence the future of the Data & AI domain by collaborating with advanced data engineering and data science teams.

• Work hand-in-hand with customers, product teams, and the wider customer-facing team to create architectures and solutions utilizing our platform and APIs.

• Advise customers on the competitive landscape, best practices, and implementation strategies while cultivating technical champions.

• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical guidance and leadership.

• Spearhead technical discovery, design architectures, and execute proof of concepts for key projects spanning data engineering, data science, machine learning, and SQL workflows.

• Serve as a strategic technical consultant to customers to facilitate business success.

• Coordinate with fellow Solutions Architects and provide support to users.

• Become a specialist and advocate for Databricks-inspired open-source projects within the developer community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a comparable pre-sales/consulting role.

• Proven track record in building distributed data systems.

• Proficient in programming and debugging using Python and SQL.

• Experience in developing solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) or Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow).

• Willingness to travel to customers within your region.

• [Preferred] Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
