Senior Solutions Architect, Datacenter, Cloud

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional technical expertise in designated areas, providing support to multiple Key Account teams throughout the organization.

• Establish trust with clients through extensive subject matter knowledge, unwavering integrity, leadership abilities, and consistent professionalism.

• Propel service sales within their area of specialization.

• Maintain a close alignment with our service teams and the organization as a whole.

• The Senior Solutions Architect comprehends our diverse service capabilities, communicates pre-sales strategies to the services teams, and offers appropriate leadership during project execution.

• Deliver industry-leading services to our Account Managers, at times leading and at other times supporting, by supplying high-quality pre-sales materials (such as build of materials, statements of work, design commentary, vendor information, diagrams, rough order-of-magnitude documents, etc.) promptly.

• Commit to continuous learning – Solutions Architects must consistently enhance their skills to fully serve our clients and keep pace with the evolving IT and AI landscape.

• Align with vendor partnerships, understanding and facilitating the execution of specific vendor programs.

• Provide guidance to clients as they navigate and transform their businesses, proactively presenting technical solutions and educating them on the advantages of Presidio-led solutions.

• Engage in consultative selling – actively listening and gradually developing the sales conversation until clients articulate their needs, allowing us to propose relevant solutions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to our key clients.

• Lead with our highest value offerings when appropriate – including managed services, consulting, and more.

• Understand the complete range of Presidio’s capabilities, paying close attention to the offerings of other practices and national teams.

• Share best practices and industry insights with fellow team members.

• Provide support to team members as needed (e.g., during periods of heavy workload or when specific expertise is required).

• Assist with tracking the sales pipeline.

• Identify and promote the most effective professional services vehicle to ensure successful execution with our clients.

• Maintain industry relevance locally and nationally by engaging in industry-specific social media and attending OEM, technology, and customer events.

• Foster long-term strategic relationships with clients, effectively communicating at all organizational levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military background.

• 7+ years of experience showcasing a significant level of expertise in storage, virtualization, computing, converged, cloud, or related technologies/services.

• Relevant work experience with OEM manufacturers and/or IT Solution providers/VAR/partners.

• The ideal Datacenter-Focused Senior Solutions Architect will possess operational and design skills concerning some or all of the following strategies, products, and technologies: The Artificial Intelligence Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) employs the following: Dell Technologies storage and backup solutions, Everpure Storage, other storage systems such as NetApp, HPE, VAST Data, Broadcom, VMware, Nutanix, Dell Servers, Cisco UCS Servers, HPE Servers, Hyperconverged solutions from Nutanix, VMware and Dell, relevant Storage Protocols and their hardware components (NFS/CIFS/ISCSI/FC), and Cloud Architectural strategies utilizing any of the following: Microsoft/Azure technologies, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Automation and Orchestration strategies, UI Path, VMware Automation and Operations, Ansible, Red Hat.
