This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Lead the technical success in intricate enterprise network automation sales initiatives, collaborating closely with Gluware Account Executives.
• Craft solutions to address customer challenges by leveraging the Gluware platform in conjunction with third-party systems such as ITSM, CMDB, IPAM, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and present engaging product demonstrations that resonate with customer pain points and specific use cases.
• Manage proof of concept (PoC) projects from start to finish — from scoping to execution — providing operational automation solutions that illustrate tangible business benefits.
• Develop custom automation solutions during PoC projects that highlight the versatility and depth of the Gluware platform.
• Produce and deliver specialized technical sales presentations designed for both engineering and business audiences.
• Serve as a trusted automation consultant to clients, establishing yourself as a peer-level resource for their senior network and automation architects.
• Contribute to collective presales resources including demo environments, reusable PoC automation templates, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with teams across Gluware Engineering, Service Delivery, Sales, and Customer Success to enhance customer experiences.
• Work alongside Solutions Architect colleagues to address unique and complex customer needs, sharing insights across the team.
• Keep abreast of current market trends in network, cloud, and competitive technologies, including emerging automation platforms and methodologies.
• Represent Gluware at industry events, conferences, and partner interactions as a subject matter expert.
• Over 5 years of experience with enterprise network architectures, products, and configurations — including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and related network technologies.
• More than 3 years of customer-facing presales experience, demonstrating a successful track record in navigating complex technical sales cycles.
• Proficiency in CLI configurations, regular expressions, and scripting in JavaScript or Python; JavaScript skills are especially valued due to the architecture of the Gluware platform.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms (notably ServiceNow) and enterprise CMDB solutions.
• Industry certifications like CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Practical experience with REST API integrations and data modeling using JSON, YANG, YAML, or XML.
• Understanding of network configuration compliance, audit processes, and intent-based networking principles.
• Hands-on experience in developing or showcasing AI-driven automation solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Familiarity with public and hybrid cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
• Working knowledge of leading virtualization and container solutions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities — equally adept in discussions with network engineers and in business reviews with IT leadership.
