
Senior Solution Sales Executive – Sustainability Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Actively seek out sales opportunities by collaborating with fellow Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships to build a robust qualified sales pipeline.
• Leverage insights gained during the needs assessment phase to provide an engaging demonstration of the Workiva platform.
• Effectively resolve customer objections by eliminating barriers and offering solutions to various client issues.
• Naturally lead the sales process, guiding it towards closure by effectively highlighting Workiva's value proposition.
• Consistently and promptly update customer relationship management systems to log customer interactions.
• Deliver reliable and precise forward-looking information through pipeline analysis to accurately forecast sales.
• Create and implement a sales strategy that involves deliberate actions to secure the sale.
• Mobilize internal resources to support account pursuits and optimize internal capabilities.
• Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Workiva products by committing to ongoing training and cultivating a growth mindset.
• Share insights, achievements, lessons learned, and best practices with colleagues across teams.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting or sustainability solution sales.
• Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Experience in Carbon Accounting.
• Ability to demonstrate intricate software applications effectively.
• Proven track record of navigating and achieving sales success within large enterprise organizations.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of complex business challenges.
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
• Skill in identifying and understanding the influence of stakeholders versus buyers, and navigating the subtleties of each throughout the sales cycle.
• Proficient in managing multiple complex sales cycles concurrently.
• Ability to negotiate pricing with an emphasis on maintaining value.
• Proven capability to meet (and exceed) sales quota targets.
• Reliable internet access is required for any duration of remote work outside of a Workiva office.
