Senior Solution Engineer, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Address intricate customer challenges and assist in finalizing significant deals

• Collaborate directly with sales teams and channel partners to grasp customer requirements

• Develop strategies to succeed in sales cycles

• Deliver value-oriented demonstrations

• Facilitate enterprise Proofs of Concept

• Showcase Snowflake technology and vision to both executives and technical stakeholders

• Illustrate and articulate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstration to proof of concept, design, and implementation

• Sustain in-depth knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors

• Position Snowflake in relation to competitive and complementary technologies

• Work alongside Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake products and marketing strategies

• Serve as a technical and visionary thought partner for customers exploring AI

• Travel around 30%

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in the industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales role

• Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and implementing machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud

• An inquisitive nature about the AI landscape

• Ability to utilize AI code generation tools effectively

• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies

• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric concepts

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python

• Capability to link customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions

• Ability to thoroughly explore customer architecture frameworks and relate them to Snowflake Data Architecture

• Willingness to travel approximately 30%

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred

• A Master’s in Data Science or Business Administration is advantageous

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not mandatory

• Adherence to Snowflake's confidentiality and security standards

• Capacity to maintain customer information securely and confidentially
