Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Convey the vision and technology of Snowflake to executives and technical stakeholders at both prospective and current clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and articulate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proofs of concept, design, and implementation.

• Stay deeply informed about the rapidly changing industry landscape, maintaining a thorough understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and appropriately positioning Snowflake against them.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing efforts continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-8 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, whether spontaneously on a whiteboard or through structured presentations and demos.

• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud technologies, such as Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to align a customer's specific business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Skillful in conducting in-depth assessments of customer architecture frameworks and linking them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred. A Master’s degree in Data Science or Business Administration is advantageous.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
