Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to gain insights into customers' objectives and challenges.

• Perform product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoCs), and technical workshops to highlight the capabilities of ANOW! Automate and ANOW! Observe.

• Assess business and technical requirements and convert them into customized solution concepts and implementation strategies.

• Create PoC use cases tailored to specific customer needs.

• Engage in customer meetings to capture technical and business requirements early in the solution development phase.

• Assist in the sales process, especially in crafting responses to RFIs and RFPs.

• Collaborate with Support, R&D, Product Management, and Sales to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Deliver structured customer feedback to Sales and Product teams for the ongoing enhancement of requirements and solutions.

• Continually enhance your understanding of current IT trends, including DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, observability, cloud technologies, and AI.

• Keep track of market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualification through relevant practical experience.

• Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, in technical presales, consulting, or technical sales of enterprise software.

• Proficient in APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell, with a solid understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes, operating systems, and IT security.

• Ideally, possess in-depth knowledge of Automic, Control-M, or Airflow, along with experience using observability platforms such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog.

• Excellent proficiency in German and English, with the capability to present complex technical information to varied audiences.

• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, complemented by teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
