Senior Solution Consultant – Pre-Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of AMPECO’s platform and the e-mobility sector, particularly focusing on the DACH market and its specific needs;

• Serve as the primary solution architect for key strategic opportunities within the DACH region, collaborating closely with the DACH Business Development Manager to align each prospect’s business requirements with AMPECO’s offerings;

• Lead Proof-of-Concept initiatives with potential clients, ensuring business motivations are valid, pertinent, and compelling to further the opportunity;

• Create and present impactful demonstrations that link AMPECO’s solution benefits to the business and technical requirements of prospects;

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with essential stakeholders involved in DACH transactions, positioning yourself as a credible advisor throughout the sales process;

• Actively contribute advisory expertise during sales cycles, bringing solution knowledge and industry best practices to the team;

• Manage bid processes for DACH opportunities — taking full responsibility for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, including structuring and drafting responses, coordinating team input, and overseeing deadlines;

• Represent AMPECO at regional industry events, keeping abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and shifting customer expectations;

• Travel within the DACH region as required for customer meetings, workshops, and events.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or a similar sales-oriented role within enterprise or B2B software;

• Native proficiency in German and fluency in English, both spoken and written — daily interaction with German-speaking enterprise clients is essential;

• Strong skills in pre-sales execution: designing solutions, delivering demonstrations, managing Proof-of-Concepts, and overseeing bid/RFx processes;

• Technically adept and a quick learner on technical subjects — comfortable engaging in technical discussions and explaining the platform's functionalities, without being a deeply technical expert or engineer;

• A confident communicator who can build rapport and establish credibility with senior business and technical stakeholders, and present complex issues clearly;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of structuring intricate challenges and crafting solutions for evolving business models;

• Strong business insight — able to convey customer value and connect AMPECO’s platform with strategic results;

• Located in Germany, self-motivated and well-organized, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across the DACH region;

• Naturally inquisitive, with a sincere interest in continually learning about the product and the industry;

• A collaborative team player who works effectively with Sales, Product, and other specialists;

• Driven to develop a long-term career in the e-mobility industry.
